From our first installation, Aethyrphlux is a very talented and great musician. Though we have heard that he releases no more music, he has generously allowed us to offer this album on Bivouac for free download. We are very proud to feature such a great artist here. Please enjoy.

Location: Nashua, New Hampshire, USA Equipment: Roland MC-303 sequencer/drum machine, Yamaha SU-700 sampler, Korg MicroKORG synthesizer, found objects, exotic instruments, various software, more to come. Description: The Aethyrphlux project embraces change and random influence. The writer, J.H.Cakes sought out a method to communicate abstract ideas or concepts, in a manner consistent with his own thought processes, after becoming less and less satisfied with visual art outlets. The result was Aethyrphlux: The constant changing of the energy which binds all. The production process is random, and often non-linear. The product is a document of the time at hand. Not exactly a review
As the actual producer of this work, I can say I thoroughly enjoyed creating it, but I also must correct the description. I never stopped making music. I still make it, under a new moniker, conFract.
I'm a manager in retail, and a husband, as well as a stepfather of 3, so you can probably imagine I do not have a lot of time to work with sound, but I still do it. My newest works in progress, along with some older stuff are all available on my confract facebook page.
